Can a person fifty years to walk in one of Kiev’s squares, measuring by steps rough asphalt? I think not. Even with breaks for sleep, eating, going to school, Institute or University, to travel far and near. Can’t a normal person can carry half a century. But if I deny its monotonous life its approval. The tradition of the construction of defensive military installations, fortifications in Europe has for many hundreds of years. The first stone of the tower, but rather wood with a high stone Foundation, appear on the territory of the GDL, i.e. the modern Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine and Poland in the 13th century. Here begins the history of stone castle construction in the region. Today, take a tour to Minsk. Based on the localization of these stone “pillars” (Volyn and its dependent territories) they are called also “towers of Volyn type”. Meanwhile, the only thing that unites the above-mentioned structures is the material from which they were built, and with a considerable degree of conditionality. As far as configuration, performance techniques, style solutions, placement in the system of other companies and, accordingly, functions, and here between them there are significant differences. Until recently, regarding the “towers of Volyn type” is also widely used the term “donjon”. Speaking of “painted rocks” on Tom, we usually remember the Tomsk pisanyza. But it is only the first of eight located on this site. For forty-seven kilometers down stream of the Tom river here there’s a cave with petroglyphs arrays: Novoromanovskaya I and II, Cool I and II, the Hanging Stone, Nicholas, and closes ensemble Totalsa Pisanitsa. Doctor of historical Sciences Igor Kovtun says: “This last is a rocky massif on the Bank of the river Tom is also the last North-Western the location of rock paintings in Central and northwestern Asia.
